Alasdair raced
the team car for us in the 2009 season.
Alasdair started
racing karts at 12 , culminating in the 2006 super 1 championship
where he was a solid mid field driver in a very competitive
field. all round the uk and represented Scotland at the 2006
nations cup in Wales.
During the summer
of 2006 he took his ARDS test at Knockhill while only 15 and
competed in his first Legends race a week after his 16th birthday.
In 2008 he was in contention all season with Rory Bryant for
rookie of the year, just missing out at the last round. At
that last round he took a race 2nd and overall 2nd for the
day which probably made him the youngest podium place at 17
and 10 days.
Whilst driving
the no 23 legend owned by Dr Barry Wood of Turnkey Computers,
Alasdair came second in the 2009 Scottish Legends Cars Championship.
