Knockhill Tri-Oval
That’s the last
stock car round at Knockhill for 2009 and Steve being so busy
with his cars to get them ready for Spa and Knockhill puts
everthing away and gets his own car ready for Knockhill -
the last stock car meeting of 2009. In the first race the
car develops a misfire and does not get to finish so it's
into the padock and set about fixing the car. We made it out
for the second race and the car was good. I am just getting
to grips with getting back on the ovals but enjoyed my time
in the car. I also made the final but I spun it by trying
too hard about lap 4. I got the car started and carried on
to the finsh. All in all happy to be out for a play in the
car! One of my old mates from my stock rod days, Jok Burgoyne,
came out to join us - he was a good pedler of oval cars -
I think he was just out for a play - I am sure he had a great
day out. I was supported by Ross David and Lez - thanks to
all of them!
